This was very hard indeed as of course the risk of the very old glass breaking was very high but i managed to very carefully do this be removing the old timber bit by bit and sliding folding wedges in under the glass, then working in reverse to fit the new sills, i managed it though no broken glass very stressful.

These items are made from new scaffold boards which are actually pine, full of character from the saw mill . patina and distressing marks are all placed randomly but also on purpose in selected parts like the bar top and tables. This gives a very interesting look to timber to make it look old
Items made for the public house are as follows.
Tables : Mirrors : full bar top surrounding : glass racks, made to curve up so glasses cant fall out : counter tops for fridges : cupboard for freezers :

Clean, Polite and amazing workmanship Chris was always on time and had all the tools needed for the job with him. His level of tidying up at the end of each day was great to see and is a really nice added extra The doors fitted amazingly once he had trimmed and cut out the bits for the hinges etc. Chris also did all the frames and skirting boards and the gaps around the door are all even - better than the old ones! Chris always explained what he was doing and why and I recommend him 100% for any work you need including custom fitting etc Thanks Chris!

CG Joinery has done various work for me from fitting a new bathroom, refitting out my utility room, new garden fence etc.. he was always on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. I would definatly recommend and will be using him again shortly in the future.

Absolute gem of a joiner. Chris hung 7 oak doors for me of various sizes a couple years ago. Turned up when he said he would and charged exactly as quoted even though a couple were tricky and ended up taking longer than expected. Cleaned up after himself too! Actually reminds me I need to get him back for some more work soon. 100% Recommended
